How Great Shall Be My Joy!

How Great Shall Be My Joy!
Sara at the Provo Temple

Sister Sara in Salt Lake City

Sara entered the MTC on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Her wonderful friends, Kelsey and Katie, took her to the MTC and "dropped her off at the curb" after their goodbyes. Thanks for helping my girl out.

Soon, two young elders came out to take Sara's luggage and Sara walked into the MTC with "calm and confidence" as Katie put it. Kelsey took some great pictures and promptly sent them to us. Katie gave me a call and said all was well.

So, for the next 18 months, we will follow Sara and her "LIFE BEHIND THE TAG."

Wed, 26 May 2010 14:28:45 -0600Subject: I met Joseph Freeman! From: sara.anderson@myldsmail.netTo: homeecdiva@hotmail.com He is the first black man to receive the priesthood! There was a stake fireside here and he spoke and he sounds like a baptist preacher when he speaks! It was wonderful. I gave the opening prayer at that fireside. Then the person conductiong has me and Sister Foukimoana stand up so the whole stake would know who we were. I am sure I was bright red. haha. I taught sharing time for Jr. primary this past sunday and sister fo and I both taught Sr. primary. It was so fun. We taught on the Holy Ghost. Oh so I feel really cool because I know someone in the For Strength of Youth Pamphlet (pg. 20) and I konw people on 4 pages of this conference enign! haha. On Sat Sis Fo and I went to a ladys house to just check on her and she had dogs on her front yard and when we are leaving I told sister fo not to let the dog out and what happened.....the dog got out. hahaha. So we had to spenf the next 15 mon trying to get this dumb dog back in the yard and I almost got bit! It was funny. Gary is on date!!!! Its very exciting! He is a fun person to teach! And Maria is back ondate!!! I wish I could tell more but I am running out of time. Cool experiance that happened yesterday. A less active, not becoming active needed a priesthood blessing so we got 2 men to come over while we were at her house to do that. She had never recieved one so she was saying how cool it was and how she now has a testimony of priesthood blessing. So it was just super awesome to witness somethign like that! Thanks for everything! Take lots of pictures at the wedding and mail me some please! Love you! -Sister Anderson I forgot to tell you...I am giving a talk this

Date: Thu, 20 May 2010 14:25:35 -0600Subject: drum roll please.....From: sara.anderson@myldsmail.netTo: homeecdiva@hotmail.com I stayed in Tooele! I have a new companion though. I went on exchanges with her my first transfer. I dont know how to spell her name...I will have to tell you it next week. haha. She is from Tonga. We have a really young set of sisters out here is Tooele. The "oldest sister" this is only her 5th transfer. Then S. Stoner at 4 transfers out. Me at 3 transfers out and sis Bates, only her second. AKA all of us have been out from 1.5 months to 7. We have 2 new investigators!!! Sally and Gary. We went to Sallys house on Saturday for a Stop Smoking referral and she said she wants the lessons too. And she already has someone to baptize her! Talk about golden! Then Gary. His situation is very confussing and I dont even get all of it so I am not even going to try and explain it. Fact is he said that he is willing to listen to missionaries now! Awesome! Marias baptism didnt happen but we are still teaching her. We are probably going to put her on date for June. My new companion listens to music when she goes to bed.....last night I had to wait for her to fall asleep so I could turn it off. hahaha. So I am hoping I get use to it. Oh I am doing Sharing time for both Jr and Sr primary this Suday. And I am giving a talk on the 30th. I am really excited for primary but not going to lie a bit nervous about the talk b/c I still dont have a topic. Oh yes mom I got the package and the cinnomin rolls/ letters from Sister Dial! Not to much to report because I just talked to you on Sunday. We are going to get about 6 hours of service this week so that is super exciting!!! We also have a "sister lunchen" tomorrow. All the sisters get together with Sister Sonne and we all have lunch and I guess sister sonne talks to us. So it should be fun, I'm excited.

WE had a pretty rough night last night with one of our people on-date but thats life so we jsut have to keep going and not get upset.

Oh I got my haircut again. Its back to as short as I got it the first time. Well maybe a bit longer...it does not matter, its short. haha.

Dont fortget transfers are in a week so you will hear from me on Thursday, not wednesday.

Ok I really have nothing new to report b/c I just talked to you. So Sorry. Love you all! Love, Sister Anderson
