How Great Shall Be My Joy!

How Great Shall Be My Joy!
Sara at the Provo Temple

Sister Sara in Salt Lake City

Sara entered the MTC on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Her wonderful friends, Kelsey and Katie, took her to the MTC and "dropped her off at the curb" after their goodbyes. Thanks for helping my girl out.

Soon, two young elders came out to take Sara's luggage and Sara walked into the MTC with "calm and confidence" as Katie put it. Kelsey took some great pictures and promptly sent them to us. Katie gave me a call and said all was well.

So, for the next 18 months, we will follow Sara and her "LIFE BEHIND THE TAG."

So I have waited my whole mission to do Temple Service......On Monday I got to do it!!!! It was great! There was a conference in the Solemn Assembly room on Sunday so we put up all the chairs and then a couple of us went to the guys locker room to go through the lockers to make sure they were clean. FYI the girls locker room is so much prettier then the guys! I got to see the James E Talmage room so that was pretty cool. The Tooele East Stake (were I use to cover) Was doing service too!!! So I got to see a few people I knew. It was amazing! The best part was that we all wore old baptism jumper suits and tennis shoes. haha.

This past Sunday we took 6 investigators to temple square!! It was so awesome. It was Maunge Pae (dad) Lewla Sa (daughter) Paw Ku (daughter) Chili (future daughter in law) Armuar (son) Paw Eh Sher (daughter) It was awesome. Sadly they are still not on date for baptism but they will be soon enough.

There are 3 people getting baptized on Nov 23. There was supposed to be 4 but the mom of the family feel off date. She wants to get baptized with her friend in the summer and not with her husband and son on Tuesday. Go figure. She told us last night. It was hard to be disappointed because her son was translating for us telling us that she was not getting baptized that week and in the back round she is going " I resign" hahaha. It was funny but sad at the same time.

So it’s Myit Win and Saw Win Chanu Noo. She, Chanu Noo, is a dry Mormon. She knows that church is true and has an amazing testimony but did not want to get baptized without her husband. Totally understandable but he was not progressing at all! We started reading the book of Mormon with her 3 times a week and she changed so much! I truly think the Book of Mormon is what changed her mind. So amazing! I am so excited that she is getting baptized.

We met a new Chin family. They are cool. We got the referral from a RM that is their case worker. They went to church this past week and they seemed to like it ok. But they allowed us to come back and they said that once they learned more and if they liked it or something along those lines, they would get baptized. They are an awesome family.

Thanks for all you do. I love you all. Love, Sister Anderson

P.s. Thanks Aunt Jennifer for the brownies!
