How Great Shall Be My Joy!
Sara at the Provo Temple

Sister Sara in Salt Lake City

Sara entered the MTC on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Her wonderful friends, Kelsey and Katie, took her to the MTC and "dropped her off at the curb" after their goodbyes. Thanks for helping my girl out.

Soon, two young elders came out to take Sara's luggage and Sara walked into the MTC with "calm and confidence" as Katie put it. Kelsey took some great pictures and promptly sent them to us. Katie gave me a call and said all was well.

So, for the next 18 months, we will follow Sara and her "LIFE BEHIND THE TAG."

Like 2 weeks ago during weekly planning we set a goal for 1 person to get baptized. We didn’t have anybody on-date but we still set the goal b/c we knew that some one was prepared out in SLC. Nabila was supposed to get baptized on Saturday Oct 9th. So on Tuesday we went over on Tues and she wanted to get baptized!!!! Very exciting! WE had pur person that was prepared! Well come time for her interview she didn’t show up. We called, stopped by and she never called back or answered the door......Saturday morning comes around. We check tons of referrals and added some new investigators and the afternoon was going great! Lwel Moo called us and asked if we were still coming over at 3. So we headed over to his house. No one in taht family is baptized. A mom, dad, and 2 sons. The boys are 9 and 12. They wanted nothing more then to get baptized but the dad said that they were to young. To make this story even more awesome Lwel Moo had just sprayed for bugs so there were tons! or cockroaches running for life all in the living room and all over our stuff! haha. So we are talking to Lwel Moo about his baptism and he said it was no good for him but it was good for his boys. He has said that before so we really didn’t get to excited about it. So then I turned to the boys and asked them if they would pray about being baptized on Oct 16. They said yes! Then Lwel Moo said that he had to work that weekend. Hmmmm....So we said, How about tonight. Long story short. We had a baptism 4 hours later!!!!!!! This was clearly supposed to happen. Everything fell into place. Everyone that needed to be there could be there. Everyone that we asked to speak accepted and the 2 interviews happened before the baptism! It was a beautiful night!!!!!! And to make things even better we added 2 new investigators and still had 9 lessons that day AND my stitches came out!!!! What an epic day!

SO yeah that was the highlight of my life. Don’t really need to write anymore. hahaha

Sister Winn came out with us last night!!!! It was fun having her. She is a wonderful teacher.

We decided that we are going to invite the Kareni Sunday school class that we teach to be baptized on Sunday. A solid 9 out of 13 are non members. We taught them about the Godhead, Faith, Repentance, Prophets( which included Joseph Smith), Prayer. This coming sunday we are going to talk about Baptism and the Holy Ghost then bam! invite them to all be baptized. It should be interesting. Im excited for it.

Fun fact for ya. THe Book of Mormon is being translated into Napali! I know one of the guys that is helping with it. There are 6 men doing it. They all have their role of what to do. They first chapter they did was 2 Nephi 6. It took them 20 hours to do! WOW! Also for General conference they have about 10 translators for each language. The translators get teh talks weeks in advance and the best translator is for the prophet b/c the prophet is the only one really allowed to go "off script" Also the translators have to be Temple worthy.

The first presidency was at the Temple today. I didn’t see any of them but some of the Elders said they saw them. Lucky!

Thanks for everything you do! Tell grandma thanks for the make up!!!!!! Love, Sister Anderson
